Book Review: Sweethearts

Age: YA
Genre: Romance/Relationship

Pages: 217
Format: Hardcover
Author: Sara Zarr

Jenna and Cameron have been each other worlds for most of their childhood, until Cameron disappears one day without a trace. Lead to believe that Cameron has died, Jenna has decided it's time to move on with her life. Her mom remarries, moves them to a new town, Jenna loses weight and ends up with a great group of friends and even a new boyfriend. Everything  has turned around from her awful childhood.

Then Cameron Quick shows up in her life after eight years and threatens to ruin everything that she has built.

A story about relationships that sprout from the deepest love, when two souls that although have distance, will never stop loving each other, Sweethearts was a cute romance read for any YA lover. While I wasn't particularly attached to either of the characters, I could see why teens would enjoy this book.
