Birth Stats Created in PSE

It only took me about 3 years, but I finally realized I could do more in Photoshop Elements than just edit photos! I'm a little slow, relax.

It started because I was perusing Etsy for a bridal shower invitation for my BIL's fiance's party. I found a few I really liked, but I was not willing to pay almost $80 for something I realized I could probably create myself.

So I set off to create an invite. Through trial and error {and a stack of bogus invites printed through Shutterfly that I threw away} I came up with an invite that I'm pretty proud of. I downloaded a bunch of free fonts {that I will share with you at another time} and used Mpix to get cards made. $40ish later, and wahlah, I saved some cash.

I'd love to share the invite with you, but I'd like Jami {HI JAMI} to see them first.

Once I got those finished, I decided to set out on something I had wanted to get made for the boys for a long time: Birth Stat wall hangings.

The prints are done on a 12X12 print from Mpix for a little more than $5 a piece. The frames were $13.99 from ACMoore.

I can't wait to hang them in their rooms!

Here's the fun fonts I used!

Budmo Jiggler
AR Christy
Big Apple NF
Bittersweet NF

I've started another project that I hope to share soon, as well!
