Book Review: A Dog's Purpose

A Dog's PurposeAge: YA to Adult
Genre: Humorous/Animal Fiction
Format: Paperback

We follow the journey of one dog on his quest to find his purpose through quite a few different lives. When Bailey is reborn as Ethan's dog, he thinks his life is complete, but little does he know that there is quite a few more reasons for him to be a part of this world.

I have to admit, I sobbed uncontrollably through most of this book. If you even remotely like dogs in any way, shape or form, you have to check out this book. This was a book that was on sale at my Scholastic Book Fair this past year. While I thought it was geared toward Young Adult, I realized this book could be read by YA and Adults alike.

It was so endearing to learn of life through a dog's eyes. There are many times that we wonder what our four-legged companions may or may not be thinking and this author gives us his insight to what just might be going on.

It's a must read for dog lovers, but don't forget your tissues!

  1. I really want to read this book, but I'm so afraid to because animal stuff makes me cry harder than people stuff lol.
