1 Week Old

 Hi! I'm 1 week old today!

Before I get started with what I've been up to for the past week, here's a picture of my brother when he was 1 week old. Do you see a resemblence? A lot of people don't really think so, but I think we might just a little.

My brother is up to lots of cool things, like getting ready to be potty trained, but this post isn't just about him.

This past week has been a whirlwind. I went from nursing every 1.5 hours to every 2-3 hours. It gives my mom a break. I've even slept for 4 hours at a time the past 2 nights. She's much happier when she's rested.

I had to take my first visit to the doctor yesterday because I have thrush and it's not a lot of fun. I have a really bad diaper rash, but I'm on some medicine now so hopefully it will all clear up. Today I had a nurse come to the house to check me and my mom out. The nurse said I'm back up to my birth weight and everything looks really good! I'm awesome!

Yesterday I got a visit from my furry brother, Steeler. He did really well with me and only licked me a few hundred times. He went back home with Nana and Pap-Pap where he'll stay for just a little while longer. Speaking of Pap-Pap, here's a picture of him and I (and my big bro) that my mom took.

My big brother has been totally awesome with me and loves me very much. He sometimes has to be reminded that I'm just a baby and can't get tickled like a big person but he's pretty gentle with me. Kisses from him are my favorite.

That's about it for now. I'm going back to sleep. That's one of my favorite things to do. But before I go, enjoy another cute picture of me!
