Like to watch things fly through the sky? Then watch as Mommy's back is turned for .3 seconds and Braydon climbs on the sofa and flings himself off landing in a pill of laughter! It's daring, destructive and devilish, folks. His next act might involve shooting out of a canon!

How about juggling? Would you like to see some juggling? Then check out Braydon's sweet DVD juggling skills! Right now he pulls all of the DVDs off of the shelf and flings them on the ground! What's next, juggling fire?

My Little Flirt

Tonight we had my family over for dinner, per the request of Brother Ben. We thought there might be some sort of big announcement like an engagement or even a pregnancy (har har), but alas, Brother Ben just wanted to see his family.

And who can blame him? We rock.

Anyway, I tried out a new dish tonight, Seafood Alfredo. Super easy and super delish! I also realized the Braydon is a friggin' flirt. He was giving Brooke (Brother's GF) googlie eyes all night. Here is B getting pushed by his new gf (sorry Ben) in his swing.

And here we are just hanging around outside in the heat.

I'm not sure why we sat out front, but whatevs, it's nice to have family over to hang out! 

I just finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hossenini. Amazing book, I couldn't put it down! It was tough to read because the female characters go through a lot of hardships growing up in Afghanistan, but I still really loved it. I highly recommend it!

Summer Picnics

We had a long, long....long, weekend with a few picnics with family and friends. Saturday we went to D's Mom's side of the family annual reunion. We don't see all of these family members too often so we spend the day hanging out by the pond and eating grilled chicken made by Dustin's Pap. Sooooo gooooood. 

We tried to get some pictures of all of the second cousins, but they weren't all cooperating too well. There's about 5 more boys and 1 baby girl that aren't pictured here.

That night we laid low and had a pool/pizza party at Maw-Maws. We swam and ate with cousins.

We did it all under beautiful skies!

After we dried off, we started a fire and Braydon got to catch his first lightening bugs! He had so much fun!

Today we spend the day at yet another pool party, but then tonight it was all serious businazz. I'd had enough of all of this lounging around by the pool and demanded that Braydon starting watering the flowers. He did such an awesome job cleaning the floors, I needed to make sure he was good at other chores too!

I mean, you can totally tell who it is? Right? The black stuff I used to outline him got all gloppy so it looks like he has a black eye. Oh well, I'm sure he'll taste yummy! 

Summer Help

I surprised Braydon today with his very own broom when he woke up from his nap. It's about time he starts helping out around here.

No lie folks...he's carrying the thing around with the biggest smile on his face right now. He's just like his father!

Suck it Assie! ;)

Did you know that I have an anal retentive part of my personality? I like to call is Assie. Assie keeps me in check and makes me do things sometimes that I don't always want to do, but I don't have much of a choice.

So Assie came calling today and wanted me to make Summer "To Do" List! Can you believe that? A list to keep me busy over the summer when I'm simply supposed to be hanging by the pool getting burned and spending quality time with B. Sheesh. Damn you Assie.

So here's my list...that I wrote on Snowflake paper. I'm special, I get it.

There's nothing too intense on the list. I'm already on book number 2 (and yes, I realize I'm never going to read 100 books this year. I've barely hit 30 and it's June...high hopes, I tell ya). Working out is going ok. I'm lacking motivation most days, but I force myself. Gotta do it. I'm also forcing myself to learn new recipes. I'm starting next week with Seafood Alfredo. Hopefully I won't kill my husband. I'm taking 2 grad classes this summer, so that's always fun (I need some sarcasm font). I'm putting myself on a cleaning schedule this summer so I don't have to spend my weekends cleaning at all. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when, but I'll make it work. 

So Assie, are you happy? I've listed away my summer due to you. But don't worry, I've still left plenty of open time for random trips to the mall and pool parties! 

Way Back Wednesday

Oh yesh. Yesh yesh yesh yesh. This is a keeper.

Ok, that kinda makes me vom a little. 

But seriously ya'll, my skin is peeling...big time. I'm leaving little remnants all over the place. I'm pretty sure I left half of my arm skin in Paw-Paw's pool yesterday and my leg skin on my chair today at Bobcat Boot Camp (a voluntary, yes voluntary class session at school...I'm nuts). I had to vacuum once I got home because there was a be pile of peeled skin on my floor from my shedding last night. 

Puke. 

This whole burn/peel thing isn't for me, seriously. I promise on all that is holy that I will forever and ever wear sunscreen for the rest of my life even if I'm not getting all of the Vitamin E that I'm required to get by law. 

By law folks, that Vitamin E is sewious stuff. 

Ok, just joking, but for reals, wear sunblock or you'll end up shedding like me...but hey, at least I'm now tan and not pasty white! There is a silver lining! ;)

So in non-shedding news, I spent this past weekend with a few of the most fantabulous people that I know. My friend Jeneice was in town for her bridal shower. (Her bridal shower was where I got married...that tells you the scale of her wedding). She's going to be the most beautiful bride and the wedding is going to be to the 9s I tell ya. I can't wait! Here is a picture of all the ladies!

And since my dear friend Linda had to leave early, but met us out later, here's a picture of us from way later that night!

Hi fellow Blog Hoppers! Welcome to my oh-so-lovely bloggity blog. I'm mainly a big dork and my blog keeps my readers up-to-date and all the extremely fun things in my life (that's sarcasm). I have a 16 month old son and I got married last Sept. I'll let you do the math. I just like to tell stories and post lotsa pictures. I don't really do reviews or giveaways, maybe once in a blue moon if I'm asked and I really support what I'm reviewing, but it really bothers me when blogs turn completely into all that crap. I recently just announced that we're getting ready to TTC again, which is totally exciting and scary all in itself. I enjoy reading and you can follow what I've read on the right. I haven't really done a solid book review and I'm not sure what's holding me back, but you never know, maybe I'll break one out for ya.
