There are 2 months til our wedding day. 2 months. I'm beginning to freak. There are so many things that need done that you never think about. Table tents for the guests so they know where they are sitting, ribbon for the centerpieces, what you want your officiant to say, what should the flower girl carry, how will your guests know what side to sit on, what song should we dance to, how much beer for 120 people, etc, etc, etc. Holy crap, I'm gonna have a meltdown til this is all over. This is why people do this for a job, so the little people like you and I don't have to worry about it!
So yes, as for my relaxing summer...that's down the tubes! BUT I will admit I'm still trying to get some QT poolside with Braydon at least once a week! I'm so glad I have inlaws with pools!

Happy Fathers Day!
It is officially Dustin's first fathers day. Braydon got him some very nice gifts if I do say so myself. He found him the perfect card, signed it himself and put a $50 gift card in it to go golfing. What a great baby we have! We also took the following photos and got them framed. I can not take any credit for this idea, there are lots of other fathers out there today who have received the same gift (just with a different baby, lol). (Got it from the bump).

So our sleeping situation was getting a lot better and then it got way worse again. I believe he's started teething, and it sucks. His poor little gums must be sore b/c he's been chewing and drooling more than ever and in the middle of the night he ways up screaming. Last night we gave him a little bit of Tylenol and that really seemed to help. I'm hoping that this little toofer pops through soon!
I just got through my first official week of summer and I must say it wasn't really that fun. I guess it's because it rained pretty much the entire time. We were couped up in the house and I hate not being able to get out for a little bit. This week the weather looks pretty nice so we might be able to get by the pool at some point or at least get out and go for a walk or something! I think I've also decided to take Braydon to the sitter at least one day a week just so he stays used to going there. I'm a little worried that he might start to have a little separation issues when I go back to school in August. It will also give me a little sanity during the week!
Welp, Dustin is out fishing so Braydon and I are going to take a little walk because the sun FINALLY came out! Happy Fathers Day to all you dads out there!

The "Marts"
Let me just preface this post by saying that I pretty much hate all stores that end in the word "mart."
I ran (well, drove) to Kmart yesterday so I could quickly pick up a few items for the beybee and for our bathroom (don't ask). Anyhoot, I'm pretty fast at picking up my items in that piece because I can't stand lingering around and dealing with ALL of the people that inhabit that place. It's maddening. So after my 5 minute haul-ass through the store, I arrive at the check-out counter where a boy who is no more than 12 is checking out my items. Well, maybe more than twelve, but that haircut would make you think different. So I have like 12 items. 12. No lie, it took him 15 minutes to freakin check out my items and bag them up. Then it took ANOTHER 5 minutes to run my card and give me my receipt. Oh yea, and while he was bagging up my goods, do you think he would have the common sense to bag things that are alike together? Like why would you put the baby food in the same bag as the comet and toilet cleaner? I mean, even if my toilet cleaner IS the green stuff that's supposed to be ALL-natural, that STILL does not make it ok! Don't they make these fools take some sort of bag packing class or something? I shall have to ask brother Ben because I'm pretty sure he spent a hot second working for one of the "marts."
Oh wait! I totally forgot that there IS one type of "mart" that I enjoy visiting...the BevMart! :)

5 1/2 More Days...
until the sweet smell of chlorine, grass, BBQs, Malibu, sweet Baby, suntan lotion, flowers, pavement, rain and ocean can hit my nostrils and solidify the fact the summer is finally here.
The end of the year is always a hodge-podge of movie watching, signing yearbooks, playing kickball, finishing up tests, returning and paying for books and signing off for the last time to our students. And this year we get to add to the joys packing up 50 bazillion boxes and making sure they make it to the new school. It really does go so fast, and especially fast this year since I was off for 10 weeks smack dab in the middle of it.
I'm not sure that I will miss too much about this school year. There are a few students who I enjoyed and a few more who I didn't. Either way there will be a whole new batch next year to replace them.
And so this summer I'm looking forward to hanging out with my beebee, swimming, seeing friends, relaxing, reading and just taking it easy. I do plan on really sticking to my workouts, but other than that...It's easy peezy for this girl...
